The New Nicotine Alliance invites you to attend the Nordic Nicotine Forum ─ a one-day clinical and scientific meeting designed to support healthcare professionals in reducing smoking-related harm through evidence-based insights on nicotine science and tobacco harm reduction (THR).

Smoking reduction across the Nordic region is at a critical juncture. While Sweden makes history by achieving “smoke-free” status, other countries continue to face significant public health challenges. As frontline care providers, healthcare professionals play a pivotal role in supporting patients to reduce tobacco-related harm. This forum offers a timely opportunity to engage in science-led discussions with internationally renowned experts and explore how THR strategies can be more effectively integrated into clinical care and public health policy.

What to expect:

  • Scientific Understanding: Enhance your understanding of nicotine pharmacology, addiction mechanisms and physiological effects to better inform patient care.
  • Risk and Harm Reduction: Review the latest data comparing the relative risks of various nicotine delivery systems, and explore their role in complementing smoking cessation or reducing harm in patients who are unable to quit.
  • Regional Insights and Lessons Learned: Examine the THR strategies implemented across the Nordics ─ including Sweden’s success story ─ and identify practical, evidence-based actions for other countries in the region.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in cross-specialty dialogue on implementing harm reduction strategies in everyday practice and explore how to better support patients with smoking-related comorbidities.

We look forward to welcoming you to a day of insight, collaboration, and purpose in Stockholm.

Please note that this is an invitation-only event.
